Camp

Horsemanship Camp

The Timber Hill Stable Horsemanship Camp is offered during summer vacation as well as school vacations. The horses used are safe and lovable "veterans", allowing your child to benefit from this unique experience.Each camper will not only get hands on experience in caring for the horses but will also ride daily.Campers will share in a variety of other equine experiences including harnessing, driving and handling our draft horses. Christine Nava

Christine Nava, Owner/Trainer/Instructor:

Christine has been riding and showing horses since 1974. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire where she specialized in equine studies. Christine has studied under renowned Morgan Horse Trainers, including Ann Anderson and Garn Walker.

She has owned and operated Timber Hill Stable since 1987. In addition to providing Riding/Driving instruction, Christine has been showing Morgan Horses competitively since 1983. She has guided many horses and their riders to local, regional, and national championships.

Sarah Hall

Sarah Hall, Trainer/Instructor:

Sarah began riding at Timber Hill Stable as a child in 1992 under Christine Navas instruction. She spent endless hours working at the barn caring for and riding show horses. In 2006 Sarah moved to California to work under Garn Walker where she perfected her training skills and helped to instruct and train many world champion horses and riders.

In 2008 Sarah became Assistant Trainer at Garn Walker Stables in continued training and instructing for the next two years. In 2010 Sarah returned back home to her family in Massachusetts and returned to Timber Hill Stable as co-trainer.

Fred Nava, Owner, Show Manager:

Fred is actively involved in the management of several Morgan Horse Show events all over the country and prides in his team of English Shires.
